The United States suffers from an increasing number of health issues. These health problems are related to diet, obesity, and lack of exercise. More than 26% of adults in the United States are obese. There are also many more cases of diabetes, heart conditions, and other diseases that can be prevented if people make smarter decisions about their diet and lifestyle.
Health care costs in the US is at $3 trillion every year. When we think about how it would be possible for one person to cover this cost on their own it’s impossible. This is why many people opt to not get any coverage at all which leads to higher taxes on everyone else or worsening public health care systems which leads to less accessible healthcare services for everyone who doesn’t have enough money to afford it.
